Position Overview:

St. Vincent de Paul of Portland (SVdP) is a Catholic non-profit social service organization that has served those experiencing poverty in Portland and the surrounding areas for over 150 years. The Portland Council office oversees 45 parish-based SVdP Conferences across a five -county area (Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, Columbia, and Clatsop) counties. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Administrative Coordinator for our main Council office located in SE Portland. This individual will serve as the main communication link between the Portland Council and the Conferences, manage various administrative duties, and support Council events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide support to Conferences with knowledge of SVdP policies and procedures

· Order fresh product for Conference food pantries as needed

· Maintain and update Conference data

· Prepare, distribute and process Conference Annual Reports

· Assist with various SVdP events and trainings throughout the year

· Assist with the Annual Volunteer Awards Dinner

· Attend Conference Presidents’ quarterly meetings

· Support the Executive Director on miscellaneous projects

· Order office supplies for Admin, Accounting and ES departments

Skills and Qualifications:

· Strong organization and multitasking skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

· Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people

· Experience in administrative roles preferred

· Familiarity with nonprofit organizations preferred
