Position Summary

We are currently seeking one full-time teacher that is committed to meeting the learning needs of each student in the areas of math and science and is equipped to provide a nurturing learning environment that fosters respect and the love of Christ.

Qualifications

The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in math/education or a core science area/education.
Prior teaching experience is preferred.
Proficiency with technology used for teaching and learning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Practicing Catholic.
Experience with diverse populations is recommended.

Job Responsibilities

Create and implement lesson plans that promote an engaging, positive, and interactive learning environment.
Prepare, administer, and evaluate classroom assessments.
Collaborate and communicate with other teachers regarding student success.
Review and respond to collected data regarding areas of student strength and areas of improvement.
Attend faculty meetings, professional development seminars, and other meetings as assigned.
Implement and follow school policies and procedures.
Perform administrative duties such as but not limited to; grading, discipline, supervision, etc.
